Pumpkin Candy Treats

I’m the room mom for Brad’s class this year which means that I am in charge of the fall festival party today!  Here is the super easy pumpkin craft that we are doing today.  I originally saw this idea in Family Fun magazine a couple of years ago.  They used orange jelly beans but since I couldn’t find a good deal on jelly beans I used butterscotch candies ($1 a bag at Walmart)!

Step 1:  Place candy in center of orange tulle

Step 2: Gather orange tulle, pinching it at the top

Step 3: Secure top with a green pipe cleaner

Step 4: Wrap green pipe cleaner around the top of the orange tulle

Step 5: Cut off the excess orange tulle on top

Step 6: You now have a fun candy filled pumpkin!

I bet it took some coordination to hold the tulle (which I thought was spelled toile) with one hand and take the pic with the other. 🙂
